Después del recreo del martes, tuvimos más actividades. Con los alumnos de segundo de ESO, y por primera vez este año, se celebró un «Countdown contest», o más conocido como cifras y letras, con nuestras compañeras Mari Carmen Leyva de inglés y Rosa Cortés de matemáticas. La expectación era máxima y los alumnos disfrutaron de esta actividad mucho. Estamos seguros de que se volverá a repetir.
Y ya para finalizar el día, los alumnos de primero de bachillerato asistieron a una charla sobre la comida británica. Esta charla fue realizada en conjunto por hablantes nativos que colaboran con nuestro centro. En esta ocasión vinieron Elaine Fenlon, Janette Ball y Diane Wiseman.
On Tuesday, after the break, we had more activities. With the students of 2nd of ESO, and for the first time this year, we celebrated a «Countdown Contest», with our mates Mari Carmen Leyva from the English Department and Rosa Cortés, from the Maths Department. The students were expectant and they really enjoyed the activity. We are sure that they will make it again in the future.
And to finish the day, the students of first of Bachillerato attended a lecture about British food. This talk was done thanks to the collaboration of native speakers who are willing to come to the school and help us with this kind of activities. On this occasion, it was Elaine Fenlon, Janette Ball and Diane Wiseman who came.
