El pasado jueves 31 de marzo un grupo de 34 alumnos de nuestro centro salió de la estación de autobuses para llevar a cabo un curso de inmersión lingüística en la ciudad irlandesa de Bray, situada a unos 20 minutos de Dublín. De esta forma, retomamos nuestra actividad más importante, tras dos años de pandemia, pues esta actividad se venía haciendo desde el curso 2014/15, aunque nunca antes con tantos alumnos.
La inmersión lingüística será del 31 de marzo al 6 de abril, y todos los alumnos están en 4º de ESO. En esta ocasión los han acompañado 3 profesores, nuestros compañeros Clara Valero, Carlos Muros, y Andrea Rodríguez. El curso no sólo incluye clases de inglés adaptadas a sus diferentes niveles, sino también actividades culturales como la visita a la capital irlandesa, Dublín, y a otros pueblos cercanos, combinándolas con actividades más lúdicas como danza irlandesa, bolera, karaoke, etc.

LANGUAGE IMMERSION COURSE 2021/22
Last Thursday, the 31st of March, a group of 34 students from our school left the bus station to bring about a language immersion course in the Irish city of Bray, located on the east coast of Ireland, about 20 minutes from Dublin. In this way, we restart our most relevant activity after two years of pandemic, as this activity was being carried out since the course 2014/15, although we had never had so many students before.
The language immersion course wil take place from the 31st of March to the 6th of April, and all the students are in the level of 4th of ESO. This time they will always be accompanied by three of our teachers, our colleagues Clara Valero, Carlos Muros and Andrea Rodríguez.
The course does not only include English lessons adapted to their different levels, but also cultural activities like visits to the Irish capital, Dublin, and other close locations, combined with more playful activities like an Irish dance workshop, bowling, karaoke, and so on.
We hope they will have a great time and make their best of the experience!
